Maintaining the NovaPrime

The NovaPrime is an accessory used to fill ink lines when reservoirs are first installed and to help clear clogs in cartridges.
It is battery operated and uses 4 AA batteries.
To replace the battery
- Remove the screw at the
end of the unit and open the NovaPrime.
- Note the orientation of
the battery pack. Pull it out and replace the AA batteries.
- Reinstall the battery pack
ensuring that the orientation is correct.
- Close the NovaPrime and tighten with the screw.
To clean the NovaPrime
- Clean the NovaPrime with distilled water and a lint-free cloth to remove ink. Thoroughly wash the ink bottle and allow to air dry.
